SXSW will host its first ever music opening party in celebration of SXSW Music’s 30th birthday. This exclusive event will be held at Maggie Mae’s in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, March 15th starting at 6 PM CST. To celebrate the occasion there will be musical performances by Har Mar Superstar, John GRVY, Capsula, Kristin Kontrol and last but certainly not least a DJ set from CHVRCHES!
CHVRCHES return to SXSW after winning the inaugural Grulke Prize for Developing Non-US Act after their breakthrough festival performances at SXSW in 2013.
The SXSW Music Opening Party is open to those with Music and Platinum badges.
