On Monday CHVRCHES email newsletter mentioned more shows would be announced soon! The first of these additional shows was announced yesterday. The synthpop trio from Glasgow will be playing a DJ set at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood, California on Wednesday, April 15th. Click here to purchase tickets and to reserve tables.

Earlier this month CHVRCHES announced a DJ set at LED Day Club in Palm Springs, California on April 16th and a band set at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois on July 17th. With all these recent announcements our anticipation for their second album grows along with everyone else but we all know no matter how long that takes it will be well worth the wait.

CHVRCHES stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday to chat with Fearne Cotton and performed their hit song “Get Away” along with a beautiful cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River”. Timberlake himself gave his seal of approval with a retweet on Twitter. CHVRCHES have been nominated for another award, this time as the British Breakthrough Act for the 2015 Brit Awards which will take place on Wednesday, February 25th at The O2 in London and broadcast live on ITV. Quite an exciting week for fans of CHVRCHES! Earlier this week the band announced a DJ set at LED Day Club in April and just yesterday announced they will be playing Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on Friday, July 17th. For a full list of bands see the concert flyer above.

This Tuesday we discovered a pleasant surprise from CHVRCHES. They have been announced as a performer (DJ set only) at LED Day Club to coincide with the second weekend of this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
