CHVRCHES will be in Australia for the holiday season at the end of this year. Earlier this week the band announced a gig at Field Day in Sydney on New Year’s Day 2019 and just minutes ago they shared news of playing Falls Festival. Dates and locations for CHVRCHES are listed below.

This annual music and arts festival in the land down under stretches from December 28, 2018 to January 6, 2019 in four cities including Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle. Tickets go on sale next Thursday, September 6th at 9 AM AEST through Ticketmaster.

Tampa Bay’s new alternative radio 97X just announced their lineup for the annual 97X Next Big Thing Music Festival taking place on December 1-2, 2018 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Check out the stacked lineup including CHVRCHES, Panic! At The Disco, Foster The People, Bastille and more! CHVRCHES are scheduled to perform on Sunday, December 2nd.

Some dreams do come true. CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry grew up listening to the band Death Cab for Cutie and today she is featured on their new album Thank You for Today with some beautiful backing vocals on the track “Northern Lights”. Mayberry previously made a few guests appearances on stage to sing “Brothers on a Hotel Bed” with Death Cab for Cutie.

While in California for the ALT 98.7 Summer Camp Festival yesterday Lauren Mayberry revealed in an interview with the radio station that CHVRCHES would be returning to California to play the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Today the band officially announced this gig with ticketing information for later this week.
