In case you missed it, CHVRCHES announced on Friday that they have begun work on their sophomore album. The short message, “album two, day one in the studio” came via their social media pages with the accompanying picture above. CHVRCHES’ fans worldwide rejoiced in this exciting news.
CHVRCHES debut album The Bones of What You Believe and their exhaustive tour over the past two years captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands of adoring fans who eagerly await for what comes next from Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. Cook was recently quoted; “We're not going to put out anything we aren't happy with. That could take four months, it could take two years.” With their widely successful debut album still creating a buzz we’re going to guess that we will hear from them sooner rather than later but however long it takes to create another masterpiece we all know it will be well worth the wait.
