Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Joanna Gruesome and King of Cats will no longer be playing this event as originally planned. We all know how much the ladies of TYCI and especially Lauren adore the band Sleater-Kinney so it’s not much of a surprise that they will be attending their concert tomorrow night at the O2 ABC, Glasgow. What did come as a pleasant surprise is that TYCI will be hosting the official Sleater-Kinney after show! Click here to listen to what some of the ladies had to say about this inspiring band.
Prior to the concert, TYCI will be collecting cosmetics, dried and tinned foods, toiletries, toys and other household items for Glasgow Women's Aid. Drop off anything you can donate before the show at the TYCI stall when the doors open at 7pm. Following the sold out show head over to O2 ABC 2, Glasgow for the official after show hosted by TYCI from 11pm – 3am. Entry is free with your Sleater-Kinney concert ticket for those 18 and over.
Earlier this week TYCI announced the lineup for their March 2015 event which has been named “TUCK YOUR BUZZCU*T IN”. On the 21st in collaboration with //BUZZCUT// the ladies will welcome performances by Figs in Wigs and Sh!t Theatre, live music from Pennycress and a DJ set from VSO.

CHVRCHES lead singer Lauren Mayberry will be on the streets of Glasgow on February 4th selling The Big Issue magazine as a guest vendor in support of INSP during Vendor Week Big Sell 2015.
INSP (International Network of Street Papers) help the homeless and unemployed through the sale of independent newspapers and magazines in 35 countries in 24 languages. Vendors purchase these papers for half the cover price to sell on the streets to help support themselves and their families. For the second year in a row guest vendors will be selling The Big Issue magazine to raise awareness and funds for INSP during the vendor week celebrations.
