CHVRCHES dropped a new original song today called “Warning Call”. Over the past few weeks each band member had hinted about a new project and today it was released. The new track will be featured in the upcoming video game Mirror’s Edge Catalyst due out June 7th in North America and June 9th in Europe.

Lauren Mayberry wrote the lyrics from Faith’s perspective as the lead character of this game. An excerpt from Pitchfork added, “We were honored to be asked to contribute to the soundtrack for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, the band's Iain Cook said in a press release. The sound of CHVRCHES’ music resonates with the minimalist sci-fi dystopia of the Mirror’s Edge world, and we feel that the song complements the drama, emotion and empowering themes of Faith's story.”
